A Maryland woman who lived nearly 100 years was not discovered for weeks after dying during a winter storm, and now her family is working to carry out her final wishes.
Odessa Audrey Henderson, 98, died during the spate of winter storms that swept through the region, but was not immediately located, according to her daughter, Ina Segears.
After she was found, Henderson’s body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Virginia, where it remained for several weeks, Segears said.
