America's Oldest Man, NJ Resident Dies At 111
A man who lived through two world wars, raised 10 children, and became America's oldest living man has died at his home in New Jersey.
Luis Cano, of Linden, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, at the age of 111, according to the City of Linden.
Cano held the distinction of being the oldest living man in the United States, officials said in the announcement.

A day at the beach turned deadly along a stretch of coastline known for sudden danger.
Mahial Sran, 20, and Harshita Nair, 21, died after being swept into the Pacific Ocean in Santa Cruz County, California, according to NBC Bay Area.
The two women were from Fremont, California, and had graduated from the same high school together in 2023, SFGATE reported.
Sran was studying public health at San Jose State University. Nair was a legal studies student at the University of California, Berkeley, according to their LinkedIn bios.

California Duo Admits To Armed Home Invasion In Point Pleasant: Prosecutor
Two residents from California admitted to pleaded guilty to burglary on Tuesday, June 15, following an armed home invasion in Point Pleasant, authorities said.
Per the terms of a plea agreement Jaheim Wilson, 24 and Oleya Brown, 22, both Stockton residents, are expected to be sentenced to seven years in prison, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
