Swastikas Discovered At NJ Synagogue: Police Several swastikas were found scrawled at a synagogue in Lakewood Wednesday, July 29, authorities said. At 5:38 a.m., officers responded to a synagogue on Spruce Street after a person arriving at the temple had discovered multiple swastikas had been placed throughout the interior of the building, Lakewood police said. The markings were documented by officers and subsequently removed, police said. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
