The 56-year-old wife of a New Jersey fire chief died when a 93-year-old driver crashed through a popular restaurant this weekend, officials have confirmed. Police officers pulled a driver from a sinking car moments before it became fully submerged in a body of water in Ocean County early Sunday morning, Sept. 20, authorities said. Douglas Cobb was charged with murder in the death of Bruce Gress, 42, a Toms River resident on Friday, Sept. 18, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
