Four Indicted In Fair Lawn Home Invasion: Front Door Smashed, BMW, Jeep Stolen, AG Says
Four men have been indicted in a violent Fair Lawn home invasion last March, where suspects smashed through a front door, stole two luxury vehicles, and injured a homeowner, authorities said.
The indictment, announced by Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin on Monday, Sept. 29, charges Daniel Chipelo, 21, of Mount Carmel, PA; Kasib Higgs, 20, of Old Bridge; John Duncan, 20, of Kearny; and Jason Cathcart, 22, of Kearny.
Records show that Chipelo, Higgs, and Cathcart have extensive criminal histories.

Four teenagers, including two juveniles, have been arrested for a shooting that occurred in Linden, Linden police announced Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Linden police, along with the Union County SWAT team and other police departments, executed search warrants throughout Elizabeth, apprehending Amare Bakersville, 19 and two 16-year-olds for a shooting that occurred in April, law enforcement said.
On Friday, April 25, officers responded to Woodlawn Avenue after two groups exchanged gunfire following a dispute, police said. Several vehicles were damaged, though no injuries were reported, police said.

Ariel Delgadillo, 43, was arrested after West Chester police were dispatched to the 500 block of West Biddle Street around 4:15 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, for a report of an assault with injuries, according to court documents.
